So apparently choirs around here have a different philosophy of what it means to take a break at halftime - in this case (as in so many others), it means you now have 15 minutes to head to the pub (conveniently located just across the way) and have a beer.

And then you come back, and practice another 45 minutes or so.

And then, to celebrate your evening's musical achievements, well, what better thing to do than head for a drink at the bar?

It's hard not to appreciate such culture shock.
